20MnCr5 steel is widely known as case hardening steel with low carbon content, but excellent wear resistance due to high surface hardness after hardening. 20MnCr5 steel is widely used for parts for parts which require core tensile strength of 1000 – 1300 N/mm² and good wearing resistance. 20MnCr5 steels are widely used for applications boxes, piston bolts, spindles, camshafts, gears, shafts and other mechanical controlling parts.
